VIVA Farms – King County Student Farm and Farm Incubator (http://www.vivafarms.org/) 

Viva Farms supports new farmers by providing English/Spanish bilingual technical assistance in organic farm management and business plan execution, as well as low-cost access to land, infrastructure, equipment, marketing, and capital. Since its inception, Viva has launched 44 new farms in Washington State, generated over $1,300,000 in sales revenue, and educated over 750 small farmers (over 150 of whom are Spanish speakers).  In 2017, VIVA launched the King County Student Farm & Farm Incubator, a 10-acre peri-urban agricultural campus in the Sammamish Valley that provides a training facility through which aspiring farmers attain practical ‘seed-to-sales’ experience and launch businesses. Participants have access to arable land, essential infrastructure, and a suite of equipment and tools for micro and small farm production.
